Christopher Marks, DPT

Christopher Marks is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 7 years of experience, all with SECO. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Utica College, along with a bachelor’s degree in Health Studies and a minor in Gerontology. He practices at SECO’s Sidney location.

Christopher’s primary area of interest is orthopedics. He believes every patient is different and takes an individualized approach to treatment, meeting each person where they are and helping them work toward goals that are meaningful to them.

His interest in physical therapy began after dislocating his patella while playing soccer in 2010. During his own rehabilitation, Christopher was drawn to the positive and encouraging environment of the PT clinic and realized he wanted a career where he could help others through the healing process and improve their quality of life. He chose SECO because of its welcoming clinic environments, straightforward interview process, and approachable leadership.

Outside of work, Christopher enjoys playing golf and has been a member of his home golf course since 2009. He also enjoys playing music—primarily guitar, along with drums and piano. Christopher and his wife have a mini farm filled with an impressive collection of animals, including goats, a miniature donkey, ducks, chickens, peacocks, cats, dogs, tortoises, and more.
